The «RV TOM CREAN» is a scientific vessel for the Republic of Ireland, built V/129 by Armón Vigo shipyards, with a length of 58.8 m and a beam of 14 m.
This vessel, with Lloyd’s Class Notation +100A1, UMS, Ice Class 1C FS, DP(AM), UWN-L(R11), and approval by Lloyds Register, has the diamar® automation system on board. Through diamar® different equipment are monitored and controlled: pumps, valves, fans (normal and reversible with speed control), deck lights, maneuvering propellers, power plant, remote levels, alarm outputs for the DECT telephone system, etc.
