The «Río» family: five patrol vessels, one automation system

There are ships that do not appear in the postcard pictures of the harbour. The ones that watch, that patrol, that defend borders. And behind many of them, you will also find diamar®. Today we want to focus on these patrol vessels:

🛥️ Río Arlanza | Maritime Service of the Spanish Civil Guard
The first of the series. A patrol vessel built by Astilleros Armón that allowed the Maritime Service of the Civil Guard to expand its capabilities in territorial surveillance, the fight against drug trafficking and irregular immigration control. On board: diamar®.

🛥️ Río Sil, Río Guadiato, Río Riaza and Río Luna | Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food
Four sister patrol vessels, 35 metres in length and 7.80 metres in beam, also built by the Armón Group, this time for the MAPA and with one main mission: the fight against illegal fishing. Their design comes directly from the Río Arlanza and incorporates diamar®, allowing crews to serve on any of these patrol vessels with identical operation.

This is important, as it provides a trained reflex for working in high-concentration situations such as those carried out by the Maritime Service of the Spanish Civil Guard.

On all of them, diamar® allows the crew to monitor and control onboard systems in a safe, simple and intuitive way.

Five vessels, one shared philosophy: that the crew can focus on their mission and carry out their service with the highest level of safety.
