The new tuna vessel for the Mexican shipowner Grupomar, ‘María de Jesús’, is already sailing with diamar®.
This vessel, hull G-014 by Armón Gijón, has a LOA of almost 80 meters with the capacity to reach speeds of up to 18 knots and a hold prepared for 1,200 tons of tuna.
This diamar® project integrates an Automation System (IAS) and a Power Management System (PMS) for the vessel’s electrical plant. Through the system mimics, the crew monitors the status of auxiliary groups, exhaust gas temperatures, main engine and plant alarms, propulsion system, tank levels, and more. Additionally, diamar® allows, through these mimics, to have control over the 3 diesel generators.
